Setup

The battlestation

A 57" super ultrawide, three screens above it, and a PC hanging under a standing desk. Every part chosen to last.

The layout

Everything is mounted to the desk, so the whole setup rises and lowers together when I switch between sitting and standing.

Front view, roughly to scale. The outer screens look narrower because they turn in toward you. The dashed lines show the top row ending flush with the edges of the 57".

Desk and mounting

Secretlab top to bottom, so every piece is designed for the desk it sits on.

Peripherals

Wireless where it counts, and nothing that lights up.

Rules of the build

The principles every part had to pass.

No RGB

Not dimmed, not turned off in software. Parts without it, from the start.

Quality over price

Built to last for years, not to hit the cheapest total.

Checked first

Every part verified for compatibility before anything is ordered.

Nothing recycled

Every part in the new build is new.

No last-minute swaps

Once a part is decided, it stays decided.

Moves with the desk

Screens, PC and cables all rise and lower together.

What I use today

The current PC, still doing its job until the new one is built.
